Synopsis

After the death of his grandfather, a craftsman of traditional kotos, a rebellious teenager decides to bridge the gap between them by entering his high school's koto club. Despite the club's need for members, the newly appointed president hesitates to accept the youth because of his troublesome reputation. Observing the newcomer's earnest dedication, the president permits him to join alongside a gifted koto player and several close companions. The series follows this disparate group as they train, form bonds, and work together toward the goal of performing at the national contest, exploring respect for tradition, personal growth, and the camaraderie forged through music.
