Synopsis

After Koyomi Araragi aids in bringing the legendary vampire Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade back to life, he finds himself transformed into a vampire and bound as her attendant. Kiss-shot insists she can restore his human form, but only after she is made whole and regains her former might. Araragi tracks down the three hunters responsible for dismembering Kiss-shot and reclaims her severed parts to rebuild her strength. As he nears completing the task that has driven him, he must confront whether he truly wants to revive such an overwhelming immortal being — one whose future actions could be uncontrollable and unstoppable. Puzzling questions linger: if a freshly turned vampire like Araragi could defeat those hunters, how were they able to subdue Kiss-shot? Is she sincere about returning him to humanity, and by what means would that even be achieved?
