One year after the crushing conflict with Zhao, the State of Qin refocuses on King Ying Zheng’s long-held goal of bringing the six remaining states under a single rule. Their immediate objective is the state of Wei, a relatively small territory that serves as a strategic gateway for further expansion. Xin, now commanding a three-hundred-strong Fei Xin Unit, pursues bold feats to earn distinction for himself and his troops, driven by memories of comrades lost in earlier fights. As Qin prepares for the opening clashes of its campaign against Wei, Xin must contend with rival young officers who enjoy higher birth or status. Meanwhile, inside the Qin court, political factions begin to maneuver against Ying Zheng, creating instability at the heart of the kingdom. Facing pressures on multiple fronts, Zheng and Xin lead Qin through a new phase of continuous warfare, determined to secure their legacies by forging a united China.
