After the Sanyou operation, Qin forces led by the 1,000-Man Commander Xin press forward to realize King Ying Zheng's aim of uniting China, having secured a key position in Wei and turning their attention east. At the same time, Li Mu—renowned strategist and newly named prime minister of Zhao—uses a temporary peace with Qin to pursue uninterrupted diplomacy with the other states. Suddenly, Ying Zheng learns that armies from Chu, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, and Qi have crossed into Qin lands. Too late to fully grasp Li Mu's intentions, Zheng convenes his advisors to plan a response to the combined six-state invasion. Facing the prospect of total annihilation for the first time in its history, Qin must marshal all available forces and strategies to defend its survival.
