Synopsis

Nanami Momozono, now acting as the patron deity of Mikage Shrine alongside her familiar allies Tomoe and Mizuki, accepts an invitation from the wind god Otohiko to travel to the Divine Assembly in Izumo. She brings Mizuki and leaves Tomoe to impersonate her at school, while privately hoping the trip will reveal the fate of the missing former shrine god, Lord Mikage. In Izumo she encounters Botanmaru, a young tengu searching for Shinjirou Kurama, a tengu who has taken on an unusual public persona as a goth idol. Botanmaru seeks Shinjirou’s return to Mount Kurama to depose Jirou, who has seized control there. As Nanami becomes more familiar with her divine responsibilities, she must navigate a tengu uprising, wrestle with the emergence of romantic feelings toward Tomoe, and confront a mysterious man whose connections reach into Tomoe’s history and Nanami’s future.
