Synopsis

Set around interconnected relationships, this series follows three parallel romances involving students and older men. Misaki Takahashi, a high school student, returns home to discover his older brother in an intimate moment with a stranger who is Akihiko Usami, a bestselling novelist and his brother’s close friend. As Akihiko becomes acquainted with Misaki and takes on the role of his private tutor, Misaki grows uneasy after finding the author’s latest boys‑love novel and questions how to view Akihiko’s connection to his brother. In a separate story, Hiroki Kamijou, a university classical literature instructor reeling from a broken relationship, meets Nowaki Kusama, a student seeking academic help. Despite initial refusals, Hiroki gradually assists Nowaki, and their growing bond leads to deeper personal disclosures. The third narrative centers on wealthy teen Shinobu Takatsuki, who, upon learning his sister divorced You Miyagi—a colleague of Hiroki—decides he wants a romantic relationship with You after recalling that You once saved him from a robbery. You resists and tries to drive Shinobu away, but soon faces the determination behind Shinobu’s pursuit. Together, these three storylines depict evolving emotional tensions, questions of trust and intent, and the development of intimate relationships between younger protagonists and older counterparts, presented without revealing key plot resolutions.
