Synopsis

Ritsu Onodera, a proud literary editor tired of being judged for his family name, leaves his father's publishing house to prove himself. He transfers to Marukawa Publishing but is assigned as a new manga editor in the Emerald department, where staff work under relentless deadlines. There he meets Masamune Takano, the driven editor-in-chief whose insistence on results masks a deeper connection: Takano was Ritsu's first love in high school. That past heartbreak left Ritsu hesitant to open his heart again, and their reunion forces both men to confront unresolved feelings as Takano resolves to win back Ritsu's affection. The series also follows two other couples whose lives intersect within the manga industry, each experiencing the emergence of first love amid professional pressures.
