Synopsis

A shower of falling lights turns out to be enchanted charms from a magical realm, prompting two schoolgirls to become involved in an otherworldly retrieval. In Jewel Land, magicians sometimes compress native Jewelpets into portable charms; one restless bunny named Ruby resents confinement and plots an escape. During a scheduled transfer to the Dream Forest, a disoriented courier bird loses control and scatters the charms. Most of the Jewelpets fall to a human city while only Ruby arrives in a red charm that ends up in a girl’s water glass. Tasked with recovering the lost charms, the girl and her friend form an uneasy partnership with Ruby. Together they traverse urban oddities and meet unusual beings and allies as they attempt to gather the fugitives and return them to their origin. The story follows their cooperative efforts, the challenges posed by Earth’s unfamiliar environment, and the emotional bonds that develop as they strive to reunite the Jewelpets with their world.
