Synopsis

At Sunshine Academy, a marginalized cohort nicknamed the Plum class is treated as the school’s castoffs. Within this group, Ruby and Kanon Mizushirou confront the oddities of a fantastical high school environment while managing the strains of an unconventional bond between them. Their relationship is further complicated by mutual romantic feelings for a classmate, Mikage Shiraishi. The story follows their day-to-day interactions, the emotional tensions that arise from sharing an affection, and how they cope with belonging and identity amid the academy’s peculiar circumstances.
