Synopsis

Shuichi, who aspires to emulate his pop idol Ryuichi Sakuma and the band Nittle Grasper, formed a group called Bad Luck with his friend Hiro and landed a contract with a major label. With studio deadlines approaching, Shuichi still lacks completed lyrics and struggles to find creative spark; Hiro suggests romance as a remedy. One night in the park, a draft of Shuichi’s lyrics is carried away and picked up by a striking stranger who calls him talentless—Eiri Yuki, a renowned novelist. Humiliated and driven, Shuichi finishes a song partly out of frustration so he can confront the man who insulted him. As he seeks that meeting, Shuichi must reckon with whether his motive is pure anger or the start of deeper affection.
