Synopsis

Haruka Nanase, whose affinity for water shapes his life, reconnects with three childhood teammates—Rin Matsuoka, Nagisa Hazuki, and Makoto Tachibana—after years apart. Their early victory in an elementary relay becomes the catalyst for tension when Rin returns as a rival focused on proving he surpasses Haruka. In response, Haruka, Nagisa, and Makoto establish the Iwatobi High School Swim Club but lack a fourth member to enter the next competition. Nagisa enlists Rei Ryuugazaki, once on the track team, to complete the quartet. As the tournament approaches, the group trains rigorously, growing closer while preparing to compete and confront the unresolved rivalry between Haruka and Rin.
