Synopsis

As Angel attacks intensify, humanity's military response strains under pressure with NERV leading frontline efforts. Shinji Ikari and Rei Ayanami continue their roles as pilots and are joined by two newcomers: the determined Asuka Langley Shikinami and the enigmatic Mari Illustrious Makinami. Operating powerful Evangelion mechs armed to face colossal adversaries, the four young pilots struggle to defend those they care about and to avert a looming catastrophe. As the conflict unfolds, unexpected revelations emerge that force the characters to confront not only external threats but also unsettling truths about their own world and the nature of the struggle.
