Synopsis

Peace on Earth is disrupted when surviving members of Frieza’s army, led by Sorbet and his deputy Tagoma, arrive with the intent to summon Shen Long and restore their fallen leader. They coerce Emperor Pilaf, Shuu, and Mai to retrieve the Dragon Balls. Once brought back to life, Frieza—whose fury toward Gokuu Son and Future Trunks has only intensified in the afterlife—declares he will slay his longtime foes. Sorbet notes that Future Trunks has been missing for years and that Gokuu’s strength now exceeds even Majin Buu’s power, but Frieza insists he only needs months of training to challenge Gokuu. The story follows whether Frieza can carry out his revenge or if Gokuu, Vegeta, and their companions will confront the renewed menace and protect Earth.
