Synopsis

A hapless boy in the 20th century faces ongoing misfortune that affects his descendants generations later. Seeking to improve their standing, a servant robot from the 22nd century travels back in time to steer the boy toward success. The robot cat, obtained by accident and imperfect in function, attempts to mentor and assist him, but its own shortcomings complicate their efforts. Together they embark on numerous journeys that bring excitement and change, leaving open the question of whether the robot’s interventions ultimately benefit the boy in the ways intended.
