Synopsis

Demons require a living vessel to manifest, but a person's strong will can subdue the demon and claim its abilities, creating a Devilman. Akira Fudou, gentle and easily moved, joins his childhood friend Ryou Asuka on a mission to investigate devils. Their investigation leads them to Sabbath, a depraved gathering where revelers become possessed, their bodies transformed into monstrous forms that spill blood and death. In trying to save Ryou, Akira accidentally fuses with the demon Amon and acquires the strength to combat the other devils. The fusion grants him formidable power but also awakens a fierce, ancient side within him. Despite inhabiting a demonic body, Akira retains his compassionate nature and, together with Ryou, confronts and eliminates threats to humanity and those he loves.
