Synopsis

Akira Fudou appears to live an ordinary high school life until an encounter with local tormentors leads to his childhood friend Ryou Asuka coming to his aid. The two spend an afternoon catching up that culminates in them attending a nightclub gathering. When violence breaks out, some attendees transform into demonic beings, leaving Akira and Ryou in grave danger. Their survival depends on the arrival of a powerful demon named Amon, who takes residence within Akira. The fusion produces Devilman, a formidable entity whose human host, guided by deep compassion for others, commits to defending people against demonic threats.
