Synopsis

After their father’s death, Tanjirou Kamado becomes the family’s provider while they live modestly on a distant mountain. On a trip to the village to sell charcoal, he is delayed by nightfall and warned by a stranger about nocturnal, flesh-eating demons. Returning home the next day, Tanjirou discovers his family slaughtered and his sister Nezuko transformed into a demon. Driven by grief and determination, he vows to avenge his family and remain by Nezuko’s side. He allies with the secretive Demon Slayer Corps and commits himself to eradicating demons and preserving whatever of Nezuko’s humanity remains.
