Synopsis

A team of nine cyborgs, guided by scientist Dr. Gilmore, employ engineered body augmentations to confront continuous waves of adversaries. Each member contributes a distinct ability that complements the group’s efforts. The lead, known as 009—an accomplished race car driver nicknamed Hurricane Joe—brings exceptional physical strength, a high tolerance for gunfire, and the capability to move at accelerated temporal speed. Together they confront foes ranging from mechanized crustaceans and extraterrestrial beings to hostile cyborgs, intervening to shield their community and, at times, the entire planet. Throughout their missions they apply their powers in service of protecting people and upholding justice.
