Synopsis

Tatsumi Oga, a notorious tough at Ishiyama High, is confronted with an unusual responsibility when the infant Kaiser de Emperana "Beel" Beelzebub IV attaches himself to him. Known for his overwhelming physical power, Oga learns from the baby’s caretaker, Hildegard "Hilda," that Beel latched on because of that strength. Hilda insists Oga either assume guardianship of the Demon Lord’s child or face her sword; alternatively, he could persuade someone stronger to take the boy. As Oga contemplates recruiting one of the Tohoshinki—the four top fighters of Ishiyama High—to relieve him, he must balance the school’s violent reputation with the sudden demands of raising a demon infant.
