Synopsis

Set mainly in 1930s America, multiple storylines intersect around a transcontinental train named Flying Pussyfoot whose voyage brings widespread bloodshed. In New York, the driven scientist Szilard and his reluctant assistant Ennis search for vanished vials of an elixir that grants eternal life, while rival crime syndicates escalate their conflict. Elsewhere, aboard the 1711 ship Advena Avis, alchemists confront the true cost of everlasting existence. Adapted from the acclaimed light novels, the narrative weaves seemingly separate episodes—spanning different times and places—into a larger tapestry of alchemy, survival, and immortality. Connecting these strands are the well-meaning thieves Isaac and Miria, whose actions draw together diverse individuals, each carrying concealed motives and ambitions, producing enduring consequences and relationships for all involved.
