Synopsis

After the rebel group Reunion leaves Chernobog devastated, it advances its campaign against nations that oppress people infected by the contagious, fatal illness Oripathy. Reunion now aims at Lungmen, a wealthy city known for cruel policies toward the ill. Chief Ch'en, who witnessed her homeland's destruction, commands the Lungmen Guard Department's Special Inspection Unit and leads her team to protect the city. At the same time, Amiya, the Doctor, and Rhodes Island—a pharmaceutical enterprise with advanced capabilities—continue resisting Reunion across multiple fronts. Their efforts reach an impasse when they confront FrostNova, a Reunion commander whose chilling abilities bring a slow, deadly freeze to those who face her.
