Synopsis

As Ursus and Reunion intensify their assault on Lungmen, Ch'en—formerly the city's strongest protector—publicly renounces her ties to Lungmen's leadership, disclosing to Chief Executive Wei Yenwu that she is Infected and that she is Talulah's sibling, the elusive head of Reunion. Branded a fugitive with an arrest order, Ch'en departs the city determined to face Reunion directly, driven by a belief that she alone can bring the judgment her sister requires. Meanwhile Rhodes Island moves to prevent complete devastation; Doctor, Amiya, Kal'tsit, and their allies attempt to steer a conflict in which even a small chance at justice could spark Lungmen's recovery from ruin.
