Synopsis

Following a painful breakup, Retsuko, a red panda, withdraws from the idea of romance with real people and seeks comfort in a virtual relationship that provides adoration and playful appearances at a cost. While trying to improve her finances, she accidentally damages a parked van with a rental car and becomes entangled with its owner, Hyoudou, a brusque cheetah who manages an underground idol troupe. He hires her as the group's accountant, and the mounting stress of the role fuels her intense death metal venting sessions. As responsibilities and emotional conflicts pile up, Retsuko confronts whether she prefers a safe, drab routine confined to her office or whether she might pursue something more vibrant beyond her desk. The story follows her struggle to balance work pressures, personal growth, and the possibility of real connection without revealing key plot outcomes.
