Synopsis

Retsuko, a red panda, remains tied to the routines of her repetitive office role while using death metal karaoke to blow off steam. Her friendships with Gori and Washimi bring more enjoyment into her days, yet changes threaten her balance. A new hire, Anai, appears competent, but when Retsuko must train him she senses that his presence could unsettle the workplace dynamic. At home, Retsuko's mother arrives unexpectedly, determined to push her toward marriage and arranging a series of dates that frustrate Retsuko. Seeking release at the karaoke bar, Retsuko rants through furious songs, but recognizing such outbursts don't truly resolve her issues, she opts for a spontaneous decision to evade them. This choice triggers another period of personal reflection, during which Retsuko explores her feelings about herself and love, supported throughout by the catharsis of her death metal performances.
