Synopsis

Retsuko, a 25-year-old red panda, endures persistent workplace stress from a boss’s sexist remarks and coworkers’ patronizing behavior. Although she is among the most hardworking staff, her small stature and unassuming manner make her an easy target for exploitation. When daily indignities accumulate, she retreats inward to release her anger through vivid fantasies of performing aggressive death metal karaoke that confronts the foolishness and duplicity around her. These private mental outbursts provide her a psychological outlet amid a corporate environment dominated by hierarchy and concern for outward appearances.
