Synopsis

In a world shaped by Duel Monsters, a new cohort of duelists competes for the coveted title of King of Games. Juudai Yuuki, an easygoing and cheerful young aspirant, enrolls at Duel Academy, an institution dedicated to training future challengers. His relaxed nature leads him to arrive late for the entrance exam, where he encounters a familiar figure who entrusts him with the Winged Kuriboh card, which soon becomes his companion. As Juudai begins life as an academy duelist, he and his friends are drawn into a succession of unforeseen challenges and dark forces that test their resolve. The series follows Juudai’s pursuit of his ambition to become the next King of Games while portraying the lively, unpredictable atmosphere of daily life at Duel Academy and the bonds formed through dueling.
