Synopsis

Kimihiro Watanuki is burdened with the unwanted ability to perceive spirits and other supernatural beings, a talent that makes daily life difficult. One evening, while beset by these entities, he is drawn into an unusual residence. Inside, he meets Yuuko, an enigmatic proprietor who proposes a solution: she can end his sight of the supernatural, but only if he becomes an employee of her establishment. The shop grants wishes to those who come to it, and Watanuki's agreement to work there launches him into a series of strange, often uncanny episodes that challenge him and lead to unexpected encounters.
