Synopsis

Narumi Momose, a lively young woman, oversleeps and rushes to her first day at a new office while determined to conceal a private passion: she’s an otaku and a fujoshi. Her effort to keep this part of herself hidden collapses when she unexpectedly meets Hirotaka Nifuji, a friend from middle school. Attempting to divert attention, she invites him out after work, but a casual question about the upcoming Summer Comiket exposes her interest. Fortunately, the only onlookers, Hanako Koyanagi and Tarou Kabakura, share similar interests and do not judge. That evening, Narumi and Hirotaka reconnect over drinks. Narumi reveals that a previous relationship ended because her ex refused to accept her fujoshi identity. In response, Hirotaka proposes a different approach: he suggests dating her as a fellow enthusiast, pledging steady support, companionship, and even teamwork in gaming sessions to hunt for rare items. Touched by his sincerity, Narumi accepts, and the two begin a shy, earnest relationship built on mutual understanding and shared hobbies.
