Synopsis

After transmigrating into a world of cultivation, Dongfang Xianyun finds he does not match the expected role of the protagonist. Misreading his reborn second junior brother Yin Feixing—who seeks vengeance—as the main lead, Xianyun plans to survive by attaching himself to that perceived hero. Instead, betrayed and thrown from a cliff by the one he considered an ally, he turns toward demonic cultivation and assumes the role of an antagonist. He encounters figures such as Yi Xiangfeng, an innocent demonic cultivator at the Mahayana stage; the flirtatious Dongfang Wuqiong; the Xuanming Sect’s eldest disciple; and Bu Suantian, a Heavenly Dao Messenger who is also a transmigrator. As the Demon Subduing Assembly approaches, tensions escalate and conflict between righteous and demonic cultivators intensifies. Formerly the Xiaoyao Sect’s eldest disciple and now a senior demonic cultivator of the Bai Mei Sect, Dongfang Xianyun faces a struggle for survival as events converge toward a decisive confrontation.
