Synopsis

Iruma Suzuki, a fourteen-year-old who has long borne the burden of supporting his neglectful parents, is unexpectedly sold to a demon named Sullivan. Rather than facing harm, Iruma is welcomed as family: Sullivan treats him with indulgent care and enrolls him at the demon academy Babyls. Hoping to avoid attention, Iruma attempts to remain inconspicuous to prevent his human identity from being discovered, but maintaining anonymity proves challenging in the unusual environment. Sullivan’s prominent role as the school’s chairman and the expectation that he will become the next Demon King further complicate matters. Early on, Iruma is thrust into an embarrassing public episode when he is compelled to recite a forbidden spell before the entire student body, an incident that gives him an unintended reputation. Despite his reluctance, Iruma finds himself increasingly drawn into peculiar and escalating situations within the academy, balancing the comforts of his new guardian’s affection with the pressures and oddities of demon school life.
