Synopsis

The Europan Imperial Alliance advances westward to secure resources and occupies the neutral Principality of Gallia to control its Ragnite reserves. Overwhelmed by superior strategy, technology, and force, the invaders quickly overrun the tranquil border regions. In one affected village, Welkin Gunther and his younger sister Isara mobilize with the local militia leader to repel occupying troops. After withdrawing to the Gallian capital, they join the scattered militia survivors to form a new unit assigned to help expel the empire’s presence. Inexperienced in combat, the members of Squad Seven must learn to protect their nation against annexation. As fighting spreads through Gallia’s streets, the conflict leads them into discoveries of long-buried mysteries that bind the group together in unexpected ways.
