Bound by an enigmatic pact his parents made with a goddess, Makoto Misumi is transported to another realm to assume the role of a hero. The goddess judges him repulsive, strips him of the hero status, and grants him an ability to comprehend every language except human speech before expelling him to a remote wasteland away from human settlements. Removed from Earth and placed in this foreign environment, Makoto’s latent physical and magical potential surfaces, rendering him exceptionally capable. He encounters a variety of demihuman and legendary beings who are drawn to his traits and choose to help him establish a settlement where diverse races can live together peacefully. Despite building a thriving community, Makoto continues to long for human contact.
