Syaoran and his companions continue traveling through multiple worlds to gather Princess Sakura's missing feathers and piece together her memories. Their path leads them to the Country of Birdcages, a realm where territories exist within a vast cage. There they uncover a scheme by the reigning monarch to exploit the princess and her avian companion in order to consolidate authority over the land. With Sakura concealed and resisting exposure, the group assists her efforts to thwart the king's designs while following indications that one of her feathers has surfaced in this territory.
