Synopsis

Episodes 13–17 follow Renako Amaori, who shed her former withdrawn self to reinvent herself in high school and gain acceptance among the most admired students. Her new life complicates when two leading figures in the popular circle—Mai Ouzuka, the campus' prince, and Ajisai Sena, the cherished angel—both declare their feelings for her. Overwhelmed and unable to respond, Renako accepts a request from her friend Kaho to take part in a cosplay event, intending to postpone making a choice. Observing Kaho's dedication during the event triggers an emotional shift in Renako, prompting her to reassess her desires and the kind of connection she seeks. The episodes explore Renako's internal struggle between fear and possibility, as she confronts whether she can reciprocate someone’s affection and what self-acceptance means for her relationships.
