Synopsis

Percival has spent his life with his grandfather on God's Finger, a secluded refuge perched above the clouds. Content with a quiet existence yet harboring a desire for something beyond, his world is abruptly shattered when a stranger with an unexpected personal link destroys the only life he has known. Forced to pursue the person responsible, Percival departs alone and confronts the gaps in his understanding of ordinary life. Along the way he forms bonds with companions who aid him in practical matters, but those allies will eventually confront the truth about Percival's fate—and its ties to a looming apocalyptic threat.
