Synopsis

To shield Raphtalia from Q'ten Lo’s killers, Naofumi Iwatani heads toward an isolationist realm in the east accompanied by his companions. En route they reach Siltvelt, a nation founded by a previous shield wielder where locals revere Naofumi as a deity and offer him leadership. He declines, intent on pressing onward before the next monstrous incursion imperils the world. Despite this, he becomes entangled in the kingdom’s internal rivalries. Surviving an attempt on his life, Naofumi resolves to confront Siltvelt’s power brokers, determined to make clear that long-held resentments and narrow ambitions cannot outweigh his commitment to protect the world.
