Synopsis

Ryouma Echizen and his teammates from Seishun Academy accept an invitation to play exhibition matches on a luxury cruise owned by Hikomaro Sakurafubuki. Upon boarding, they learn that Ryouma’s adopted elder, Ryouga, captains the opposing squad. Seishun begins by decisively defeating their first opponents, thrilling the ship’s audience, but odd details aboard the vessel—like poor-quality sushi and a bathroom with marble-patterned wallpaper—raise unease. The team uncovers that Sakurafubuki is orchestrating an illegal betting operation: earlier opponents were instructed to throw matches to steer wagers toward Seishun, and now the crew demands the middle schoolers lose upcoming sets to secure a large payout. Refusal carries mortal danger, since ship staff are armed and complicit, including Ryouga. Isolated and with no external help, the Seishun players must combine their tennis ability and tactical thinking to neutralize the threat. As they struggle to survive, a decisive confrontation on court between the two sons of Samurai Nanjiro will settle which player is superior.
