Synopsis

During an invasion of Earth by a hostile army, Lieutenant Shun Miller—feared for his brutality even by his own troops—leads an offensive against a city guarded by a powerful magical girl named Byakuya Mimori. At the moment they meet, Miller unexpectedly experiences love at first sight for Byakuya, and his previously relentless campaign falters. Struck by Byakuya’s fragile, innocent demeanor, he responds with unexpected tenderness, offering gifts and care. As his feelings deepen, Miller discovers that Byakuya’s familiar, a catlike being called Angel who granted her magical girl powers, has been manipulating and taking advantage of her. This revelation strengthens Miller’s determination to help Byakuya find a better, happier life. As the conflict around them persists, both must confront whether their emerging attachment can endure the practical and ideological divisions between them.
