Synopsis
After the Scorched Halloween incident, a Strategic-class mage of alarming capability emerges, prompting the United States of the North American Continent to send its premier magical strike force, the Stars, led by commander Angie Sirius, to Japan on a secret assignment to identify this individual. At First High School, Tatsuya Shiba and his circle hold a send-off for Shizuku Kitayama, who will study in the USNA through an exchange program; she is replaced by the attractive Angelina "Lina" Kudou Shields. Around the same period, authorities in Tokyo report multiple deaths in which victims are found exsanguinated, incidents attributed by some to a vampire. Tatsuya senses a connection between these events and the arrival of the USNA operatives, concluding the coincidences are unlikely and that deeper links may exist.
