Synopsis

Fable is a notorious hitman in organized crime, reputed for ending a target’s life within six seconds. After six years of service, his employer grows concerned that law enforcement is closing in and orders him to lie low in Osaka for one year. Traveling with his driver, who takes on the role of his sister, Fable is bound by a strict condition: he must blend into civilian life and refrain from killing, or both he and his partner will be executed. The enforced respite unravels when Takeshi Ebihara, the deputy leader of the Osaka faction that is tasked with sheltering him, perceives Fable’s presence as a danger and moves to eliminate him. Under constant surveillance by the yakuza and repeatedly drawn into lethal traps, Fable must navigate a web of schemes and survive without breaking the vow that protects them both.
