Kusuo Saiki is a high school student endowed with many psychic talents. Rather than seeing them as blessings, he experiences them as a burden because they complicate his efforts to live an ordinary life. He repeatedly confronts unusual situations while working to conceal his abilities, sometimes compelled to intervene to hide the truth or to compensate for his father's workplace shortcomings. Over time he must balance secrecy and responsibility, and consider whether his powers might serve to support those close to him without revealing the reality of his condition.
