Synopsis

Kusuo Saiki possesses numerous psychic talents—telepathy, x-ray vision and more—that complicate his daily existence rather than improve it. Rather than relishing these abilities, he regards them as a persistent source of trouble and aims to live unnoticed and free of complications. He keeps his powers hidden at school, hoping for a quiet, ordinary routine, but his attempts to blend in are repeatedly undermined by the peculiar behaviors of those around him. Characters like the thick-headed Riki Nendou and the delusion-prone Shun Kaidou repeatedly pull Kusuo into unintended situations, forcing him to manage the chaos their actions create. As he copes with these ongoing disturbances, Kusuo discovers that achieving the simple, uneventful life he desires is far more elusive than he anticipated.
