Synopsis

The world underwent a profound transformation following a cataclysmic event known as the Invertia. This disaster weakened established nations, allowing the Integrated Empire Foundation to rise to prominence. Crucially, the Invertia also led to the emergence of the Genestella, individuals born with extraordinary physical abilities. The most gifted Genestella are selected to attend six premier academies, where they engage in competitive entertainment battles called Festas. Ayato Amagiri arrives as a scholarship student at Seidoukan Academy, an institution experiencing a decline in its competitive standing. His enrollment leads to an accidental encounter with Julis-Alexia von Riessfeld, a renowned Genestella known as the Witch of Resplendent Flames, in a private moment. This intrusion provokes Julis to challenge him to a duel. However, the student council president intervenes, nullifying the contest. Ayato then reveals his true purpose for attending the academy: to locate his elder sister, who has disappeared. As a more intricate scheme begins to unfold, Ayato finds himself compelled to pursue victory, navigating a landscape populated by the planet's most formidable Genestella.
