Synopsis

Gauche Suede is a respected courier within the Letter Bees, an organization responsible for transporting written messages into distant, isolated regions. His routes pass through the Amberground, a perpetually dim territory inhabited by dangerous creatures called Gaichuu. During one hazardous delivery, Gauche encounters Lag Seeing, a troubled young boy who is traveling as a letter. Half a decade later, influenced by that encounter, Lag becomes a Letter Bee himself. As he works to emulate Gauche, Lag gradually becomes aware of the tangled struggles and underlying tensions that define the world around him.
