Synopsis

A looming threat from the Custodians, an ancient sentient race blamed for fragmenting human language millennia ago, forces humanity into a tense confrontation. Members of the Symphogear team—Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, Chris Yukine, Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Kirika Akatsuki, and Shirabe Tsukuyomi—are dispatched to Antarctica to locate and secure a long-buried relic. They succeed in recovering the artifact and free the scientists trapped by its automated safeguard, known as the Coffin. In accordance with international accords, custody of the relic is transferred to American researchers. However, Noble Red, a criminal faction descended from the Bavarian Illuminati previously opposed by the heroes, sets its sights on the relic and begins operations to seize it. The narrative follows the Symphogear users and their support network, S.O.N.G., as they respond to the renewed conspiracy and attempt to stop organizations that threaten their mission and global stability.
