Synopsis

Thirteen-year-old Hajime Yasaka relocates to the countryside to live with his grandfather. En route to his new residence, a lost Hajime wanders into a café named Ark and becomes enamored with a striking waitress, Sayoko "Arashi" Arashiyama. Initially distant, Arashi's demeanor shifts after she touches Hajime's hand and perceives a bond between them. Arashi is revealed to be the spirit of a girl who died during the Second World War; when she makes physical contact with a person she connects to, she can travel back into wartime periods. Joyful at discovering someone who activates this ability, Arashi enlists Hajime's help in her effort to rescue civilians from the wartime horrors that ended her life. Hajime, strongly attracted to Arashi, consents to assist. As they delve deeper into Arashi's history and carry out her mission, they uncover that others besides Arashi possess the capacity to move across time.
