Synopsis

After reaching an emotional limit, Rintarou Okabe decides he can no longer assist time traveler Suzuha Amane in her efforts to stop World War III, convinced further attempts to rescue Makise Kurisu are pointless. He gives up his mad scientist act and adopts the appearance of an ordinary university student. Mayuri Shiina, close to Okabe, interprets this change as recovery from trauma and shows relief, yet Okabe remains quietly troubled. This story marks the start of a significant divergence in timelines—one where the weight of destiny intensifies beyond personal endurance.
