Synopsis

Three years after the legendary Space Battleship Yamato came back, Earth is in the midst of reconstruction and has forged peace with the Gamilans, though that recovery depends on employing the prohibited Wave Motion technology. The former Yamato crew, now dispersed and living separate lives, each receive a telepathic summons from the enigmatic Goddess Teresa, who implores them to rejoin their ship and voyage to the remote world of Terezart. She offers them a transformative power intended to oppose the emergent menace of the Gatlantis Empire, which is advancing toward Earth with hostile intent. Driven by Teresa's call, the veterans reunite and embark on another hazardous voyage across space, confronting ever greater challenges that will demand their courage, adaptability, and unity against a more formidable adversary.
