Nobita feels nostalgic about his deceased grandmother and asks Doraemon to take them back in time so he can see her again. Their gentle reunion leads his grandmother to express a wish: she wants to meet the woman Nobita will marry. Moved by affection, Nobita agrees and, with Doraemon, uses time travel to jump ahead to his wedding day. Upon arrival they find the ceremony underway but the groom—Nobita’s future self—is not present. Committed to fulfilling his grandmother’s hope and ensuring Nobita’s future, Doraemon and the present Nobita set out to locate his future self and support him in finding the happiness he deserves.
