Synopsis

You Keika, struggling to escape poverty, dies unexpectedly after a strange meeting with a white-haired man and awakens as a wandering spirit. The man, Tanmoku Ki, is the 13th Youmeshi of the Tanmoki, the foremost exorcist lineage in China. Recognizing You’s condition, Tanmoku Ki proposes a pact: he will shield You from humans if You serves as his spirit shadow, ever at his side to ensure his safety. Bound by this agreement, they enter the spiritual world and confront a series of dangers posed by malevolent entities, working to protect those around them. As they carry out their duties as master and guardian, their relationship deepens beyond the original arrangement, and mutual admiration quietly grows between them.
